Environmental Impact Assessment of Construction Projects
My company's pre-baked anode production scale grew from 200,000 tons per year at its establishment in 2001 to 320,000 tons per year of carbon electrodes in 2007. In the same year, an environmental impact assessment report was commissioned from Shandong Provincial Environmental Protection School, and Pingyin County Environmental Protection Bureau approved it on August 1, 2007, with document number Pinghuan Shen [2007] No. 13.
Due to market economic influences, my company successively shut down its original carbon electrode and graphitized electrode production. The range of products changed from three to mainly pre-baked anodes, significantly reducing production processes (secondary baking, graphitization, and machining) and pollution-generating stages. Pingyin County Environmental Protection Bureau agreed to conduct a post-environmental impact assessment based on the company's actual situation on November 23, 2012, with document number Pinghuan Han [2012] No. 143. My company commissioned Shandong University Energy and Environment Co., Ltd. on May 15, 2013, to prepare the post-environmental impact assessment report and commissioned Shandong Provincial Institute of Environmental Protection Science and Design to complete the project acceptance monitoring work.
On November 19, 2014, Pingyin County Environmental Protection Bureau issued its review opinion on the post-environmental impact assessment report (Pinghuan Bei [2014] No. 01) and conducted acceptance on December 26, 2014 (Pinghuan Yan [2014] No. 20).
